About the event
The farmer's market at Antelope Valley Winery is certified by the California Department of food and Agriculture. This means that the fresh fruits and vegetables have been inspected at our farms by a representative from CDFA to ensure that "We Grow What We Sell". When in season, the peaches, apples, aprocots come from the orchard down the street. The eggs come from less than a mile away. My microgreens are grown in Leona Valley. Even our lavender vendor grows, harvests and processes her lavender products less that 5 miles away. And the main produce vendor, Ayala Farms grow in the Oxnard area.
